Service & Repair Policy
- We only service and repair commercial two way radios and pagers along with specialized programming of older proms, eproms and eeproms. We do not service or repair ANY type of consumer electronic equipment.
- Equipment that was purchased from Brinkley Electronics ALWAYS goes to the front of the repair line and will bump any other repairs in the queue.
- A Service Authorization Number
must be obtained prior to sending any radio in for repair or
programming. Please contact us via e-mail to obtain a number. We have found that by using a Service Authorization Number we can schedule our work more efficiently and continue to provide the service that you have come to expect over the past
36 years.
- If we do not receive your equipment within 14 days from the date the Service Authorization Number was issued you will lose your spot in the repair queue and go to the back of the line.
- Any equipment that arrives without a Service Authorization
Number will go to the end of the line and will be repaired / programmed when
all other radios are done.
- Our current backlog for repair work for equipment that was not purchased from Brinkley Electronics is ~ 3 months.
Due to this back log of work we are not accepting any additional items for repair other than equipment that was purchased from us. Once we get the repair backlog to a more manageable level we will start taking in more repairs.
